A Tablescape for RyleighCreatively Sam's

My dear friend, Mandi, has a beautiful daughter named Ryleigh. Ryleigh has epilepsy. Thank God, she’s been seizure free for three years. Yesterday was Epilepsy Awareness day, and the color associated with that day is purple. So in honor of Ryleigh, and all of the other people who have this affliction, I decided to do this week’s tablescape in purple.

I hope Ryleigh likes it.

I started with a purple tablecloth, covered with white lace. I added purple place mats & added a solid purple plate. Then I added a white plate that is trimmed with purple flowers. It’s called Selb Baveria by Heinrich & Co. I used white handled flatware to carry out the white in the plate. I added Waterford goblets to finish the tablescape.

Purple napkins with white ceramic napkin rings finished the place setting.

I chose to put lilac tea lights in star candle holders, because Ryleigh is the star of this tablescape.

The centerpiece was made by putting white roses in a purple vase. The candles, set in crystal candle holders, were painted a lilac color to carry out the color. The table scatter was painted with purple glitter paint to add even more purple to the tablescape.
