It still feels like summer here in Western Pennsylvania. I’m just not feeling ‘Fall’ yet, even though it’s only a couple of weeks away. Today’s tablescape was inspired by the lovely dinner plates. I love the shades of Aqua, and the Iris in pink, purple & yellow make what could have been a plain plate, so very pretty.
These are the plates that inspired the tablescape. They are by NEWCOR, and they’re called Chlora I. (odd name for such a pretty plate)
The centerpiece is the Lace Vase that I made in a previous post. The Aqua Glitter Baby Breath was the perfect shade. The candle stick holders were originally brass that I painted with Krylon Blue Ocean Breeze Spray Paint. Glass candle drip catchers were added to balance out the base of the candle stick holders. Some turquoise glass scatter and some aqua tea lights brought the color out from the centerpiece towards the place settings.
The napkin rings are white wooden napkin rings, that I added satin ribbon to. I used double stick tape to adhere the ribbon to the napkin rings so they’d match & it made it temporary so they could be used for other tablescapes.

And naturally, I had to light some candles.
I hope you liked this week’s Aqua & Iris Tablescape. The colors have such a cool feeling about them.
Happy Creating everyone!
