By now, you know how much I love Zebra Patterns. I use it as often as I can. There’s just something about the black & white that calms me. So, it’s only natural that I add it to my home office area.
One evening while I was bored, I was looking at my plain black binder clips. I showed you my Zebra office bling before, and I thought, why not add it to some of the accessories? I started to play around & this is what I finished with:
I can’t believe how easy it was to change these!
I got mine at Walmart, but I’m sure you can get them anywhere that carries office supplies.
I started by making a pattern that would cover the binder clips, using an index card. I just folded the card around the binder clip & cut it to fit.
Once the pattern was made, I marked it with an arrow so I knew which way the pattern would go.
The supplies were what I had on hand. The clips, the pattern, a black sharpie, scissors & Zebra patterned Duck Tape. (love my duck tape)
I used the Sharpie to outline the pattern on to the duck tape.
I cut out the duck tape pieces & covered the binder clips.
I think I went a little overboard.
They were so easy to make. There are so many patterns & colors of Duck Tape that the possibilities are endless. If you don’t have Duck Tape, I’m sure you could use other tapes, like Washi Tape.
Happy Creating everyone!
