I can’t believe that it’s October already, but it makes posting this tablescape fitting, since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I originally made all of the accessories for this tablescape to celebrate all of the September birthdays that are in our family.
I hope you enjoy the Birthday Tablescape.
I started with a plain white tablecloth covered with pink lace.
Since this is a tablescape to celebrate birthdays, I thought that a present would be fitting. I made the place mats to look like a wrapped present by adding ribbon diagonally to them.
And what’s a present without a bow?
I used plain white napkin rings, and used double sided tape to adhere more ribbon to the rings & to add a bow. The pink napkins seemed fitting.
The pink birthday place setting. I added some hot pink handled flatware & some cream china with a single pink rose. The tutorial to make the birthday cake place holders can be found here.
I finished it off by adding my favorite Wexford goblets to the place setting.
The centerpiece is a Birthday Cake Gift Box that is set on a small blinged out pedestal that sits on a square mirror. The table-scatter was easy to make. You can find the tutorial for painting table scatter here. And the tutorial for the Birthday Cake Gift Box can be found here. I guess you can tell that I’ve been planning this tablescape for a while now. Simple clear candle holders with white votive candles finished it off.
And a view from the top:
I love the candles lit.
And the place setting for all of our September birthday girls.
Happy Birthday Ladies!
and
Happy Creating everyone!
