Bloody Halloween

With Halloween coming tomorrow, I thought I’d put together a tablescape to celebrate it.

Bloody Halloween Tablescape

It all started with a candelabra that I’d painted black years ago.  It used to be brass, but once I painted it, it just said Halloween.  Next came a set of Blood Window Clings.  Those two things set the tone for the entire tablescape.

I draped some of the clings so that they looked like blood dripping off of the candelabra.

The place setting started with a red charger, black dinner plate & then a clear plate.  The clear plate was perfect for serving blobs of blood.  Red handled flatware & a red tablecloth kept with the ‘blood’ theme.

Then I added black napkins & bat napkin rings.

The Trick or Treat goblets are from the Dollar Tree & are filled with Strawberry Jell-o.

The candelabra is surrounded with a miniature wooden coffin that I painted red & black & filled with red scatter.  Glass votive holders with red votive candles added more light.

And I had to light all of the candles!

And a view from the top. (I had to take this one quickly, because it was hot!)

I hope you enjoyed this week’s tablescape.  I had so much fun putting it together.

Happy Halloween everyone!

And Happy Creating.

I’ll be joining:
