When I saw this on Wayfair’s site, I fell in love with it. Unfortunately, I just didn’t have that kind of money to spend on a holiday themed decoration. So, I decided to paint one myself.

Patriotic Beaded Stars
I used some iridescent clear beads to dress up some Dollar Tree stars for these little ornaments. Very easy to make!
Patriotic Star Garland
I love patriotic decorating. I always get a rush from seeing the Red, White & Blue. I also love the Dollar Tree. Combine those two things & I’m in my happy place. The hardest part of this project is stringing the needle.

Memorial Day weekend is here. For this week’s tablescape, I decided to create a tablescape using the items that I got in my Dollar Tree Haul. I kept it simple so it could be used for a picnic outdoors as well as indoors. It was inexpensive as well as easy to put together. I’m still playing around with birdhouses. I wanted to make a special birdhouse for my sister. She has a wonderful garden that makes me feel peaceful when I go there.
