This an easy, last minute Christmas gift for any of the females on your Christmas list. You can make these in minutes & the miniature ornaments are still in the stores.
You don’t have to use the same kind of miniature ornaments that I used, these were from the after Christmas sales from last year.
Supplies needed for the simple earrings:
Earring posts, Jump Rings. Needle nosed pliers.
First, you’ll want to remove all of those strings from the ornaments.
For the simple Christmas Ornament Earrings:
Open a jump ring a little wider than usual. (the ornaments are thicker than the usual charm) Add an ornament to the jump ring, then add the earring post to the jump ring.
Close the jump ring & they’re done!
Repeat for the second earring & you have a lovely gift for the lady on your gift list.
The red earrings:
You’ll need eye pins, small silver beads, colored beads, miniature ornaments, earring post, jump rings. Needle nose pliers, wire cutters.
Slide a silver bead, a colored bead & another silver bead onto the eye pin.
Bend the wire into an L shape, cut off excess wire & using needle nose pliers, bend the wire into a loop.
Add a jump ring to the loop & add an ornament.
Add a jump ring to the end of the eye pin & add an earring post and it’s done. Repeat for the other earring.
The dangle earrings are a little more complicated, but basically the same as above.
Supplies needed:
Eye pins, small beads, medium beads, miniature ornaments, jump rings, earring posts, needle nose pliers.
Thread the beads onto the eye pins. Bend the wire into an L shape, cut off excess wire. Bend the wire into a loop.
Add miniature ornaments & beads onto a jump ring.
Open the loop of the eye pin. Add the earring post to the loop & close it back up.
They’re done!
You can easily customize these to go with any Christmas outfit.
Try them with other shaped miniature ornaments. These would be so cute with little snowmen, snowflakes, reindeer or Santa.
Happy Creating everyone!
