Dangle Beaded Ornaments are probably the easiest beaded ornaments to make. All you need is: Jewelry Wire, Needle Nose Pliers & beads. You can get a little fancy and add some jewelry findings if you want to. They’re basically an icicle made of beads.
Cut your jewelry wire. I cut mine 12″ long, but that was way too much. I actually needed closer to 6″.
Use the needle nose pliers to twist one end of the wire into a small spiral.
This just keeps the beads from falling off of the wire.
Then get out your beads. They can be any mixture of colors, finishes, and sizes.
Lay your beads out to see how you like them. Then just string them onto the wire. I usually make sure that I use a very small bead in-between the beads. It gives the beads some definition.
Finish the string with some small beads and then bend the wire into an ‘L’ shape
Clip off excess wire. (leaving about a quarter inch)
Then using the needle nose pliers, form a loop at the end of the wire. This loop is for attaching an ornament hanger to.
And that’s it! Use different beads to give the dangles a different look.
Happy Creating everyone!
