It’s raining here in Western Pennsylvania. So, how do you have a picnic when it’s raining outside? Simple, have the picnic indoors! This tablescape was inspired by the Denim Place Mats that I made in a previous post. I hope you enjoy it.
The napkins are bandanas. I chose these because they go so well with the denim. They are held in place by the loops on the place mats. The flatware is hiding in the jean pocket
I never realized that this could be used as a Patriotic Tablescape until I started to write this. Just change up the centerpiece & it would be perfect!
I wanted to add some candlelight to the tablescape because it was so dreary outside. But this was a picnic theme, so I added candles that smell like fresh cut grass. (I got these from the Dollar General years ago)
Here’s the tablescape with the candles all lit up. They really do smell like fresh cut grass!

And for those of you who have asked, yes, we really do use the tablescapes that I create. Dinner’s ready! Hope you’re in the mood for Bacon Cheeseburgers, buttered Corn on the Cob and Fresh Homemade Lemonade! (a favorite meal of the men in my home)
Hope you enjoyed my indoor Denim Picnic Tablescape.
Happy Creating everyone!
