DIY Makeup Remover

It’s time for another Tips & Tricks!

Tips & Tricks

This time I’ll be showing you how to make your own waterproof makeup remover for a fraction of the cost of the name brands.  The ingredients are natural & good for your skin.

This is how you make it!

 What you’ll need:

Witch Hazel (restores PH to your skin)

Olive Oil (softens skin)

Travel Sized Bottles (Dollar Tree)

Cotton Pads or Cotton Balls

I got the travel sized bottles at the Dollar Tree.

First, measure about half of the bottle with the olive oil.

Then fill the bottle with the Witch Hazel.

The olive oil floats to the top of the Witch Hazel.

Shake it up & add a few drops to cotton pads.  (you can use cotton balls, but they always seem to leave behind strands of cotton on my eyelashes)

Hold the cotton pads on your eyelashes for about 10 seconds, and wipe.  This is how much waterproof mascara came off in one wipe.

Repeat with the same pads until all of the makeup is removed.  You can flip the cotton pads over & use that side too.

This also works on the rest of your makeup.

When all of your makeup is removed wash & rinse your face as usual, pat dry & apply your regular moisturizer.

I can’t take credit for this, but since I use it every day, I wanted to share it with you.  I first learned about it while I was watching Kandee Johnson (the makeup artist) on YouTube.

Happy Creating everyone!
