I’ve been wanting to go to Harbor Freight for awhile, but I never seem to find the time. The more I looked at their ads or looked at their website, the more I wanted to check this place out. My son goes there for tools all the time, but this was my first visit.
The weather was beautiful. The sun was shining, it was warm with a nice breeze, and I had the company of my son’s special someone, Amanda. Spending time shopping with her made the trip even better.
There were 3 things that I wanted, and they were in stock!
The first thing that I wanted to get is something called “Helping Hands”.
I know it’s used to solder metal pieces together, but I thought it would be perfect for jewelry making, as well as working with the tiny pieces for Christmas ornaments.
The clips will be great for holding jump rings & the magnifying glass will make it easier to see what I’m doing without the usual eye strain. Everything is adjustable & it only costs $3.99!
The next thing that I wanted was the 33 piece Deluxe Hobby Knife Set. For what I got, I feel that $15.99 was pretty good.
The different sizes of the blades will come in handy for working with wood.
And it has a set of tiny tools that will be perfect for working on some of my miniature pieces.
And the case closes nicely to fit in my tool bag.
The last thing that I wanted to get was a 6 piece Stainless Steel Tweezer Set. This set was only $4.99.
There are tweezers of different sizes & angles. These are going to be a life saver when I’m working with small beads or when I’m trying to hold a tiny piece in place when using the hot glue gun.
And the nice thing about this set is that one of the tweezers locks. This is going to be so helpful in my crafting.
I’m really happy with my Harbor Freight Haul. I can’t wait to get busy with these. Making Christmas gifts & Christmas ornaments is just around the corner!
Happy Creating everyone!
