This is the second tutorial for the Halloween Candle Holder Centerpiece.
Today I’ll show you how I made the Mummy Candle Holder, and it’s so easy to make.
You don’t need much to make this candle. 2 large wiggle eyes, some double stick tape, an empty candle holder or small drinking glass (mine is a cleaned container from a Glade candle, it works better if the sides of the candle holder are straight) some white cheese cloth and scissors to cut the cheese cloth.
Hot glue the large wiggle eyes to the center of the glass.
Then put a strip of the double sided tape on the back side of the glass candle holder.
Cut the cheese cloth into strips
Tug on the strips a little to make the edges fray.
Then start wrapping the glass candle holder starting at the top, making sure that the cheese cloth is slightly down from the rim. (we don’t need a fire hazard)
Use some double stick tape when needed to keep the strips in place.
Add a candle. If you’re nervous about the flame, use a battery operated candle.
I added a glass candle stick to the base that I had on hand. You can use a glass candle stick from the Dollar Tree if you don’t have one on hand.
I love the way the candle light filters through the cheese cloth.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
Next tutorial for the Halloween Candle Holder Centerpiece will be the Tin Man Candle Holder!
