This is a little book that I started carrying in my purse because in all honesty, I could never remember the number for my vacuum cleaner bags. (They say the memory is the first to go, lol) I used to keep index cards in my purse with numbers & sizes of the items that I purchase often. Needless to say, the pile of cards was starting to get thick & taking up way too much room in my purse. I needed a new way to organize all of the information that was on those cards. The solution? A small hard backed notebook.
I use this book for both my home & my blog supplies, so there are a lot of sections.
It’s a little hard to describe. It’s not a household management book. It’s not a bullet journal. It’s not a planner. I guess it’s a reference book to help keep me sane.
It contains my cleaning supplies for the vacuum & rug scrubber
The UPC’s for the plastic wares I use the most often to organize different things.
Totes for seasonal storage, plastic drawers for all of my tablescape accessories, project boxes to help me corral my supplies for the next project.
A list of my salt & pepper shakers. This really comes in handy when I’m out thrifting. I’m so tempted by those adorable sets.
Assorted household measurements for things like fabric yardage & blind widths.
Binders (I’m reorganizing my filing system)
Flatware colors & solid dinnerware colors for tablescapes.
Plastic boxes for my cancelled checks & receipts. These are small & stack nicely.
In the very end of the book is my list of Plaid acrylic paints. I downloaded this from the Plaid corp. & highlight the colors that I have. This way I don’t by colors of paint that I don’t need.
This little book is used so often that it has seen better days and I can’t see redoing all of the pages.
To fix it, I used the old stand-by. Duck Tape! Naturally, it had to be Zebra print.
It worked so well and will be used for many more years to come.
Happy Creating everyone!
