Happy New Year everyone!

I want to wish everyone a safe, peaceful, happy, healthy, prosperous & love filled 2016.

What better way to start the new year than with a bright & shiny tablescape?

I hope you enjoy.

This was one of the hardest tablescapes to photograph.  Why?  Because all of the reflective surfaces that I used, mirrors & silver, make it hard to not be in the shots.

The inspiration for this tablescape started with the fabric that I found.  The silver with black roses just spoke to me.  Keeping with the silver, I used mirrored place mats, silver antiqued flatware continued the fabric colors.  Clear dishware kept the tablescape sparkling.

The crystal centerpiece with floating candles kept up with the theme.

The glass ware was kept simple.

Clear goblets & one of my favorite winter glasses was all it needed.

The place setting & centerpiece:

Silver salt & pepper shakers & the silver angel napkin rings added just the right amount of silver to hold plain black napkins.
