I love earrings. They’re a simple way to bring color up towards your face. The problem with buying earrings from a store as apposed to making my own earrings is that everyone has them. I like my earrings to be a little unique. I found these rose earrings at Walmart, and fell in love with them. But anyone can have them. Changing them up a bit makes them uniquely yours.
This is how the earrings looked when I bought them. They’re pretty, but not unique enough.
Changing them was so easy. I gathered up some colored gems, pearls & some turquoise stones that I had. I even got out some Nail Art Jewels.
The turquoise stones were a little big for the earrings, so I got out some of my jewelry tools & cut them to fit.
After I got them cut down to fit, I just used some E-6000 glue & adhered the stones to the center of the earrings.
I did the same with the gems & pearls.
Here are the earrings now that they’ve been altered.
I hope you’ll give this little project a try to make store bought earrings, uniquely yours.
Happy Creating everyone!
