When I was making everything that I needed for my Mardi Gras Tablescape, I needed napkin rings. I didn’t want to use plain gold, purple or green ones. To keep with the theme, I decided to use some of the table scatter coins. They were some of the easiest napkin rings that I’ve made so far.
Here’s how I made them:
The supplies that I used were so simple. The scatter coins (you could use anything you want) some hair bands, and hot glue! Couldn’t get much simpler than that.
I played around with the coins until I got a design that I liked. Once I was finally happy with them, I put some hot glue on either side of the center coin,
Then I placed the remaining 2 coins on to the hot glue. Once they had dried, I turned them over. I put a line of hot glue across the center of the coins, and placed the hair band into the glue. I held it upright until it dried. Then I added some more hot glue over top of where the band met the glue. This was just to make the band more secure.
I repeated the same steps for all of them, and that was it! So quick & easy!
You could use anything for these to customize them for what ever decor you’re doing at the time. And because they are made with hair bands, they will stretch to fit any thickness of napkin.
Happy Creating everyone!
