By now, you know how much I love Zebra.
It’s so hard for me not be drawn to anything with a zebra pattern. I love the graceful lines of the pattern, and the black & white contrast makes adding color to it so easy.
I used the same centerpiece, place mats & coasters that I used in my Zebra Tablescape.
I hope you like this week’s tablescape.
The inspiration for this tablescape started back in February. I’d seen these mugs as a Valentine’s Day decoration. When they went on sale for half price, I just had to have them. They came with this cute little monkey which I removed & will use later. The red heart on the mug is why I went with the red.
Then I was in the Dollar Tree & spotted these goblets. That’s when the entire tablescape came together.
Since I’m still trying to use up my fabric & craft stash, I got out some zebra patterned ribbon & added it to some red napkins. (more ribbon & fabric used!)
I like the way the zebra trim on the napkins look. I added some of the same ribbon to some clear napkin rings with double sided tape. The silverware is Oneida Northland Old Baroque. I chose that because of the dark shading that went well with the black & white.
I started with a red tablecloth & then used clear dishes to let the zebra pattern show through.
The centerpiece is very special to me and I cherish it. My dearest friend made this for me in ceramic. Since this tablescape was done in red & zebra, I filled the zebra with red roses & red glitter ting ting. I set it on an oval mirror & added some red & clear gems to carry the color down.
And a view from the top:
And I just had to light the candles even though the sun was shining like crazy!
I hope you enjoyed this week’s tablescape.
Happy Creating everyone!
