White Christmas Centerpiece

This is the centerpiece that was used in the White Christmas Tablescape.  It was put together with very little supplies, was easy to make, and it can be made in any color that you need for your own decor.  This is how I made the White Christmas Centerpiece:

Gold Thanksgiving Tablescape

This year’s Thanksgiving Tablescape was inspired by the china.  The china is white & gold, so I let it dictate the rest of the tablescape.  It’s simple & I really like the way it all came together.  I hope you like it.

Have a Blessed Thanksgiving everyone.

Breast Cancer Awareness Centerpiece

This is a tutorial on how I made the centerpiece for the Breast Cancer Awareness Tablescape.  It’s easier than you think to make it, and doesn’t have to cost you a small fortune.  I got most of the flowers on clearance, the rest I had on hand.  This centerpiece only cost me $2.00 to make.

Breast Cancer Awareness Tablescape

I dedicate this tablescape to my cousin Tara, who lost her battle to cancer and to my cousin Patty, who beat it, and to all women, everywhere.

I thought I’d do this tablescape today because October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  It’s an important message to get out there, and this is my way of doing so.  Dear God, let them find a cure.

Haunted Birdhouses

Halloween is right around the corner, so I thought I’d make a new centerpiece/vignette.  I haven’t quite decided where I’m going to use it, but I like the way it turned out.  Welcome to my Haunted Birdhouses.

Fall Garland Centerpiece

Back in August, I did a tutorial on how to make a Table Garland Centerpiece.  It was a beautiful, simple and very easy centerpiece to make.  I thought I’d show you how to make the centerpiece in Fall colors using florals & foliage from Walmart.

And here is how I made it.

Apple Centerpiece

September is the back to school month.  One of the symbols for that is the apple for the teacher.  Apples are always popular this time of year, and I know that they’re very popular in decorating, especially in country decorating.  Today, I thought I’d make an Apple Centerpiece to celebrate the beginning of Fall.

Steeler Centerpiece

It’s football season.  Here in the Steeler Nation, it’s a big deal.  You see it everywhere.  Everyone is wearing their team’s colors.  It’s only September, and there is a sea of black & gold as far as the eye can see.  And I’m sure, if you’re a football fan, you’ve got the television tuned in and everyone is watching.   Decorating for that special day in your home is easy.  You may remember this centerpiece from the Steeler Tablescape.  I thought you might like to know how I made it.  This can be made in any color combination, to go with your team’s colors.

Aqua & Iris Tablescape

It still feels like summer here in Western Pennsylvania.  I’m just not feeling ‘Fall’ yet, even though it’s only a couple of weeks away.  Today’s tablescape was inspired by the lovely dinner plates.  I love the shades of Aqua, and the Iris in pink, purple & yellow make what could have been a plain plate, so very pretty.

Lace Vases

You might remember when I did the Lacy Table.  I’m at it again, but this time I’ve painted vases.  They have a delicate, feminine, Shabby Chic look to them.  I’m using it as a centerpiece, but it would be perfect in a bedroom too.

Lace Vases

I painted them the same way that I did the table, and this time I experimented a bit, too.
