Patriotic Beaded Stars
I used some iridescent clear beads to dress up some Dollar Tree stars for these little ornaments. Very easy to make!

I love patriotic decorating. I always get a rush from seeing the Red, White & Blue. I also love the Dollar Tree. Combine those two things & I’m in my happy place. The hardest part of this project is stringing the needle.

Since Memorial Day is right around the corner, there are patriotic decorations everywhere. I found these at the Dollar Tree & I can’t wait to use them in a tablescape!

Patriotic Hanging Sign
The 4th of July is right around the corner, and it’s really put me in the crafting mood. I’ve been in a crafting frenzy lately. (you know it’s bad when you realize it’s 5:00 in the morning & your glue gun is still smoking) I started my frenzy with a patriotic sign that could be hung on a wall, door, or as you will eventually see, a wreath.
This frenzy started with gift cards that I got for my birthday. (everyone knows that they can never go wrong with a gift card to a craft store) I started at Joanne Fabrics, they were having a 70% off sale, and then to Michaels (they had their 4th decorations on a clearance already!)
Patriotic Bird House Wind Chime
It’s been a long winter, and it feels so good to throw open the windows and let the warm breeze come into the house. Starting the Spring house cleaning is always a chance to re-do some things, and that gets my creative juices flowing. The warmer weather has also been pulling my thoughts to the outdoors.
When I was browsing through Michaels & Joanne Fabrics, I saw some bird houses in all shapes & sizes. It got me thinking of how to decorate them & use them outside. This is the first in a series of birdhouses. The post is very long because it’s picture laden. But it really doesn’t take that long to do.
