Cuisine Kathleen has issued another challenge! I love when she does this not only because it’s fun, but because it actually helps to give me a little more focus. The challenge is “Get Out The Good Stuff! Wedding/Fine China Challenge”
Here’s my contribution to the challenge:
I chose this china because of it’s simple pattern of plain white & gold rims. For the tablescape, I started with a white rose Damask tablecloth. I added white & gold Brocade place mats, gold trimmed white napkins & gold napkin rings.
I kept the centerpiece simple, just like the china. It’s a crystal basket, filled with water gems & roses. But being me, I had to add some ‘bling’ to the centerpiece, so I added the embellished filigree butterflies that I’d made a while ago. Some gold painted scatter was put around the centerpiece to bring the gold of the plates towards the center of the table. Simple glass tea light holders finished it off.
I had to light the candles!
And a view from the top:
I hope you enjoyed my challenge tablescape.
Happy Creating everyone!
