The world seems like it’s cover with snow. It’s been cold enough that the snow hasn’t melted yet. Don’t get me wrong, I love looking at snow, I just hate the cold. I think I’ve got a good case of cabin fever. There are so many things that I want to do outside.
Instead of fighting it, I decided to go with it. This week, I’ve created a Winter White Tablescape.
To me, Winter is white, frozen & sparkling. That’s why I chose what I did to put this tablescape together.
I started with a white lace tablecloth covering a plain white tablecloth. To that I added icy mirror place mats. White on white china was next. I added more snowy white with the flatware, napkins & napkin rings. The goblets are clear & looked frozen to me.
The centerpiece was inspired not only by the snow, but some ‘just because’ roses from my hubby.
I put the roses in a white lace vase on top of an icy mirror.
I surrounded the vase with some white glittered berries, miniature white bottle brush trees, some iridescent clear table scatter & some snowflake shaped sequins. Some mirrored votive holders added to the icy feel.
A pair of white winter owls joined the tablescape.
There was even a snowman watching over the table. It’s cold enough for him right now.
And I can’t have a tablescape without lighting the candles!
I just love these roses so much.
I hope you enjoyed this Winter White Tablescape. Wishing everyone warm thoughts.
Happy Creating everyone!
