I love Zebra print, so this tablescape was extra special for me to do.
Trying to find a black tablecloth to use for this Zebra Tablescape, at this time of year, is really hard. They’re abundant the closer that you get to Halloween, but in the Summer, I’ve had a heck of a time. Crafters think outside the box. If you can’t find it, make it! So I did. I got an inexpensive black bed sheet & hemmed it to fit the table. (I found this at Walmart for under $5.00) The nice thing about using bed sheets is that depending on the size of your table, you can find one that will fit. And they have so many colors & patterns now, that the possibilities are almost endless. (and they’re permanent press, too!)
I basically shopped our home to do this tablescape. I’d already made the place-mats when I found the fabric awhile ago.
The ‘napkins’ are Zebra print bandanas. I love the black trim around them. I’ve had the Zebra ceramic coasters for a long time. I went with white napkin rings because I felt that the tablescape place setting had more than enough pattern.
I’ve had the candles for ages.
The Centerpiece was made for me by my best friend more years ago than I care to admit to. I love this piece, more than she’ll ever know. I filled it with some Boston Fern from the garden.
The more I looked at this tablescape, the more I started to think that maybe there was too much Zebra print, so I changed out the candles to plain white votive candles in clear glass votive holders.
I think I like the white candles better. But either way, this is one of my favorite tablescapes so far.
Hope you enjoyed it, too.
Happy Creating everyone!

Woow…woow…Love …Love …the decor.
I am a lover of animal print and I love how this turned out. Definitely a rare and unique shade of white and black/zebra. Hard to find yet beautiful.
Unique!
