This is another tablescape inspired by a gift from my wonderful husband. He knows how much I love purple, and when he saw a purple poinsettia, he knew I just had to have it. (It’s even been sprayed with glitter!) Inspired by that poinsettia, here’s my Purple Christmas Tablescape.
The inspiration for the Purple Christmas Tablescape was this Purple Poinsettia. I just love it!
The centerpiece was made by combining glass plates with a glass candle holder which I added handmade glitter ornaments & glitter foliage. The purple poinsettia fit perfectly into a purple glitter box that I’d gotten on a clearance after Valentine’s Day.
I used a lavender colored tablecloth as an underlay with a white lace tablecloth over top of that. Lavender colored place mats were topped with white dishes. White napkins were topped with a purple glitter star shaped snowflake.
Wexford glassware and star shaped votive holders with lilac votive candles completed the look that I was going for.
And naturally, I had to light the candles:
You can see the Shabby Chic Lilac Village in the background. It really lights up the corner!
And a shot of the tablescape in the dark: I love what the candle light & the little village does to the tablescape.
Happy Creating everyone!
