Oh, I’ve been shopping again. This time it was for some new Fall Decorating items. I went to several stores in the last few weeks, and this is what I found. First stop was Walmart. Oh they’ve gotten in so many pretty things for Fall. They had Fall garlands, bags of pumpkins & squash, mini hay bales & this adorable little scarecrow. I’ve already got a centerpiece in mind for these.
The next store that I went to was the Dollar General I was a little disappointed with what they had, but I did find a few items.
I loved the little turkey salt & pepper shakers for only $2.00. I had to grab up the burgundy leaves, and the skeletons & skulls gave me some ideas for future projects.
The next store I went to was Michaels. I was very excited to find their Fall florals on sale for 70% off! I got one in the orange shades & one in the yellow shades. Nice haul for $5.00.
Lastly, the Dollar Tree. Oh that store could take me broke. The wheels in my mind start to turn & I start to buy. But I do stay within my allotted budget, even if it means that I don’t get a few items…
I had to get the packages of the travel bottles. I not only use them in my purse (for my hand cream), but they have so many uses in my craft room.
Since football season is here, I had to get the football shaped bowls. And I had to have the little owl salt & pepper shakers, as well as the acorn salt & pepper shakers.
I’ve noticed lately that I’m becoming obsessed with salt & pepper shakers. I don’t think it’s become a problem… yet.
Then I found some adorable little trees. If I don’t use them for Halloween, I can paint them with some white & use them for Christmas decorations. The orangy red leaves were perfect for a project that I’m working on. And the burgundy berries just called my name.
More pumpkins & squash in different shades, and I had to have the brown/copper bells, just because they were so pretty.
Some slightly larger pumpkins with berries was just what my current project needed.
And I’m not sure where I got these, but the color was beautiful.
I can’t wait to get started on some new Fall Decorating Projects!
Happy Creating everyone!
