Since Memorial Day is right around the corner, there are patriotic decorations everywhere. I found these at the Dollar Tree & I can’t wait to use them in a tablescape!
Here’s what I found:
The plastic star shaped plates are sturdier than I thought they would be. They should be able to hold hamburgers, hot dogs, and corn on the cob. Because they’re plastic, you don’t have to worry about potato salad & coleslaw leaking through.
Then I found these star shaped foil paper plates. Perfect compliment to the plastic star plates.
And the best part is that they fit inside the plastic star shaped plates.
I also found these battery operated star shaped candles.
They come in red, silver & blue and have a metallic finish to them. Perfect compliment to the star shaped foil paper plates!
We all need a little candlelight in our lives, don’t we?
And while I was there, I grabbed up some of their rose bushes. The reason that I like the ones from the Dollar Tree is that the rose heads are a bit smaller than at other stores. I find them easier to work them into centerpieces & inexpensive enough to play with them when crafting.
I think the next tablescape is going to be fun to create using all of the things that I found.
So, if you’re looking for some fun, inexpensive Memorial Day decorations, the Dollar Tree is the place to go.
Happy Creating everyone!
