What do you do with a plain white pillar candle? Decorate it, of course! I found some 3″ x 6′ pillar candles on sale, and naturally, I couldn’t resist them. But they are plain. I wanted something for Valentine’s Day.
What you’ll need:
1- 3″ x 6″ pillar candle
measuring tape
Chain (Walmart jewelry making section)
Red heart shaped rhinestones (Michaels)
Straight pins
Double faced tape
I divided the candle into 4 sections, marking it with a straight pin. Each section was roughly 2 1/4″ apart. I then took some red chain that I had found in the jewelry making section at Walmart. I attached the chain to the candle with one of the pins by gently pushing the pin through one of the chain’s links. Then I gently draped the chain to the next pin until it had the drop that looked right to me.
I then attached red heart shaped rhinestones underneath each pin with double stick tape. I repeated this step to the top of the candle between the draped area of the chain. I kept the decorations towards the top of the candle so it wouldn’t interfere with a centerpiece or base decoration, which I’ll show you in a later post. Have fun with this & think of other holidays that you could decorate it for.
I wanted to go for any diversified hue than your typical black-coloured. These suit that fee and are generally wonderful. The picture with options wonderful, they pretty a lot seem like about to catch putting on shades and tones. Parsons Parsons
