I’m not sure what made this tablescape come together for me. It started with the Dollar Tree Fall Centerpiece. I knew I wanted the colors of fall, but not the bright jewel tones that burst on to the scene in the coming months. And I wanted to incorporate the copper color from the centerpiece.
I guess it all came together because of one of the most generous gifts I’ve gotten in a very long time. A very special gift from my Mother-In-Law.
An Autumn Tablescape
I started with a brown lace tablecloth that let the white from my table show through. The napkins are layered white linen & brown napkins held together by a copper & gold napkin ring. Then I added some copper chargers & burnt orange dinner plates. Clear glassware trimmed with gold were added next. Then I scattered some gold table scatter on two sides of the centerpiece.
But the the thing that made this tablescape come together was the gift from my Mother-In-Law. She generously gave me her set of SBS-Besteche Solingen gold plated cutlery set. It’s so beautiful.
The vase was filled with water & I floated two brown votive candles on top.
And a view from the top:
I had to light the lights & candles.
I really like the way the miniature lights from the centerpiece reflect on to the copper vase.
A lit view from the top:
I love the way it looks at night.
I hope you enjoyed the first Autumn tablescape of this year.
Happy Creating everyone!
