I dedicate this tablescape to my cousin Tara, who lost her battle to cancer and to my cousin Patty, who beat it, and to all women, everywhere.
I thought I’d do this tablescape today because October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. It’s an important message to get out there, and this is my way of doing so. Dear God, let them find a cure.
I started this tablescape with a solid pink tablecloth & covered it with lace to break up the color a bit because I was using solid pink place mats.
I used pink napkins & formed them into the symbol for Breast Cancer Awareness, the pink ribbon. Clear plates were used so there was nothing to distract from the message that this tablescape was saying.
I cut a small piece of pink ribbon to form the symbol & I inserted a pink ribbon rose through it. The wire from the ribbon rose was wrapped around the stem of the goblets.
The centerpiece sits on a 12″ x 12″ square mirror and was done with pink carnations, pink daisies & yards of pink ribbons. (as well as pink glitter baby breath & ting ting.

And naturally I had to light the candles..
Happy Creating everyone!
