Birthday Tablescape

I can’t believe that it’s October already, but it makes posting this tablescape fitting, since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  I originally made all of the accessories for this tablescape to celebrate all of the September birthdays that are in our family.

I hope you enjoy the Birthday Tablescape.

Breast Cancer Awareness Angel

This year, I wanted to do something a little different for Breast Cancer Awareness month.  I chose an angel to represent hope & prayers that there will be a cure, very soon.

If you don’t want your angel to be for Breast Cancer Awareness, you could easily change the colors to your favorite color.  I know that the next angel that I make is going to be in blue & then one in lilac.

Breast Cancer Awareness Centerpiece

This is a tutorial on how I made the centerpiece for the Breast Cancer Awareness Tablescape.  It’s easier than you think to make it, and doesn’t have to cost you a small fortune.  I got most of the flowers on clearance, the rest I had on hand.  This centerpiece only cost me $2.00 to make.

Breast Cancer Awareness Tablescape

I dedicate this tablescape to my cousin Tara, who lost her battle to cancer and to my cousin Patty, who beat it, and to all women, everywhere.

I thought I’d do this tablescape today because October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  It’s an important message to get out there, and this is my way of doing so.  Dear God, let them find a cure.
