To be honest, this is one of those recipes that takes very little ingredients, is easy to make, and is so good. (ask my son, who had 4 in one day)
I have to give credit where credit is due. This recipe was invented by my ex-mother-in-law. I’ll give her one thing, she was an incredible cook.
Like I said, there are very little ingredients to make this dish.
You’ll need Ground Beef, 1 medium Onion (diced), 1 can of Cheddar Cheese Soup, 1/2 can of water, Sweet Relish & Hamburger Buns.
Brown the ground beef & onions until the meat is cooked & the onions are translucent.
When the beef is browned, add the soup, water & a heaping tablespoon of the sweet relish.
Mix well & simmer on a very low heat to thicken. About 30 minutes. Stir often to prevent it from burning on the bottom.
Like I said, use a very low flame while simmering.
After it has thickened, it’s ready for the buns!
Serve over buns & enjoy.
Happy Creating everyone!
