e.l.f. Haul

I’ve been shopping again, but this time it’s for me, not for the craft room or for the home.  I was starting to run low on some of my cosmetic supplies and I’m starting to like the e.l.f. line more & more.  It’s not an expensive line, and I can find it readily available at my local Walmart.

ELF Haul

What does e.l.f. stand for?  Eyes, lips & face.  I got a little of everything this time.

The first thing that I got was the face primer.  It’s become my new favorite.  Elf’s primer contains Vitamin A, C & E.  And it goes on so smoothly.  For years I used nothing but Hard Candy primer, but lately I’ve noticed that it isn’t doing the job like it used to.  The Elf primer not only fills in any fine lines, but gives my face a perfect base before using my foundation.  And my skin seems to look less dry with the elf primer than with the Hard Candy.

Next was the e.l.f. Cover Everything Concealer.  This concealer is so smooth & does a wonderful job of getting rid of the dark circles under my eyes.  (and I need that)  It’s a yellowish color that combats all sort of imperfections, not that I have any… ahem.  I guess you can tell that I couldn’t wait to dive into this.

Blush.  Boy, I’ve had a hard time finding a cream blush lately.  I haven’t been able to find the Revlon shade that I normally use, so I decided to try the e.l.f. blush.  At my age, I try to stay away from powders because they tend to make my face look dry and my skin look older.  This blush stick works so well, and gives my face a more natural blush look.

I like the Pink Lemonade shade.

On to the eyes.  I have been using this eyeliner for years now, and I love it.  It’s like a fine line felt tipped pen, but it’s waterproof eyeliner.  It goes on smoothly & makes a very fine line for the corner of the eye as well as a thicker line for the rest of the eyelid.

Did I mention that it’s waterproof?  Yay!

Finally, the lips.  I’ve fallen in love with the lip primer/plumper.  It plumps up the lips & you use it under your lipstick.  At my age, I’m looking for anything that plumps up the fine lines.  And the primer part of it is wonderful as a base for the lipstick.  To use it, you use the primer first, the plumper second & finish off with your favorite lipstick.

I like this one so much that I keep one in my purse, one in my work bag as well as one in my lipstick drawer at home.
