Gelatin Desserts

I’ve been making these desserts for years. They’re light yet filling. (I know, weird) This is also not only easy to make, but very inexpensive. You can make them as the regular gelatin or sugar free, as I do. The entire dessert seems to be totally different depending on the original flavor of the gelatin.

I hope you enjoy!

What you need is:

2 small boxes of gelatin (regular or sugar free)

2 cups boiling water

2 cups cold water

1/2 container of whipped topping (regular or sugar free)

fruit ~ strawberries, bananas (Sliced)

Mix gelatin with boiling water & stir for 2 minutes until dissolved. Add cold water & place in refrigerator for about an hour. (Gelatin will start to thicken)

Remove from refrigerator and divide into 2 equal parts. To one part, add the whipped topping & whip with an electric mixer for 2 minutes until fluffy. Place in dessert dishes & refrigerate for several hours.

To the other half, add the sliced fruit & mix well. Place in refrigerator for 1/2 hour. Remove & stir again. (this keeps the fruit from floating on the top. Refrigerate until solid. Serve as is or top with whipped topping.
