This year’s Thanksgiving Tablescape was inspired by the china. The china is white & gold, so I let it dictate the rest of the tablescape. It’s simple & I really like the way it all came together. I hope you like it.
Have a Blessed Thanksgiving everyone.
I started with some gold fabric as an underlay. It’s actually a fabric that is made for dance costumes. It stretches & doesn’t fray.
Then I added a white lace table cloth over the gold. I brought in more gold by using gold chargers.
And then I added the gold & white china.
I used white linen napkins that are edged in gold, and a silver napkin ring that has a gold bow.
The centerpiece is a white cornucopia filled with gold wheat, fruit & roses.
I added gold rimmed glasses and my mother’s flatware. (I was too tired to polish the silver)
And then white & gold turkey candle holders.
At each place setting, I added a card that says, “I’m Thankful For Our Family”. Inside each card is a special message for my family, from me. They were made of white card stock & the lettering was done with a gold Sharpie.

And naturally, I had to light the candles:
Happy Thanksgiving everyone, and Happy Creating!
