This Christmas Tablescape was inspired by the stoneware. Creatively Sam’s isn’t quite a year old yet, and I’ve been wanting to use this all year! Every time I look at this stoneware, I find myself humming the song, “O Christmas Tree”. Welcome to my “O Christmas Tree” Tablescape!
Once again, I used white crushed Velour as the tablecloth. It just looks like snow to me.
Red place mats and a red charger complimented the red trim on the plates. Red handled flatware & Christmas tree glassware just seemed to go with the setting.
A candy cane slipped into the napkin ring came from the candy canes on the plates.
The stoneware is BRICKOVEN Stoneware.
I used plain white napkins with Teddy Bear napkin rings. These napkin rings were easy to make. I used plain wooden napkin rings purchased at Michaels, that I painted white. Then I added some red & gold ribbon to the center of the rings & hot glued tiny Teddy Bear ornaments to the top.
The centerpiece is just a square mirror with a small tree in the center. I covered the container that the tree came in with red foil wrapping paper. I added some red glass scatter, a Teddy Bear ornament & some drink ice cubes that, when lit, change colors. Mr. & Mrs. Snowman salt & pepper shakers & Mr. & Mrs. Claus salt & pepper shakers flank the mirror.
Why the Teddy Bears? There are Teddy Bears hiding in the cups! As well as a Teddy Bear on the glassware.
And a view from the top:
I hope you’ve enjoyed the “O Christmas Tree Tablescape”
Merry Christmas everyone! And Happy Creating!
