Patriotic Star Garland

I love patriotic decorating. I always get a rush from seeing the Red, White & Blue. I also love the Dollar Tree. Combine those two things & I’m in my happy place. The hardest part of this project is stringing the needle.

What you’ll need is some upholstery thread, a long sewing needle, some beads (I got mine at Walmart) and some foam scatter stars from the Dollar Tree.

The first thing that I did was to line up the beads in the order that I wanted them. I used them as a spacer between the stars. You can use any kind of beads or any color beads for this project. I had a lot of the iridescent clear beads, and I’m still using up my stash.

Threading on the stars was easy… they’re made of foam. The one thing to remember is to thread the stars above the center of the star, because the star will tip upside down if you thread it close to the center.

That’s pretty much it! Just adding beads between the stars & making it as long as you like it

Happy Creating everyone!
