This is a collective haul of the items that I’ve gotten over the past month. And boy, have I been crafting because of it. The first item was this adorable Bobble Head Scarecrow Couple. I just couldn’t resist them.

Keyboard Clock
To say that my mind doesn’t work like other people is putting it mildly. I look at everyday things & see something totally different. I see the possibilities. This is what happened when I went through yet another computer keyboard. (I manage to go through a lot of them) I’ve had this idea in my mind for months. I hope you enjoy.
Walmart Gem Haul
This is going to seem like a weird haul, but there is a method to my madness. I’ve been spending way too much time on Pinterest & the project that I want to do needed this haul. They are some of the gaudiest earrings that I’ve ever seen. Please don’t judge until you’ve seen the project that I’ve got in mind. (Coming soon)
Chicken Noodle Soup
In my younger years, I went on a quest to gather as many family recipes that I could. This recipe was given to me by my Dad’s sister, Aunt Emma, years ago. It was her mother’s recipe. I’ve tweaked it a little bit, but it’s basically my Grandma’s recipe. Enjoy!
Filing With Binders – Household
I don’t like filing. There’s no other way to say it. The file drawer looks wonderful at the beginning of the year, but by the middle of the year, the files get messy & when you’re in a hurry, it’s hard to find the things that you’re looking for. When they become disorganized & you can’t find things, tempers become short & pressure builds. I’ve been known to have more than one panic attack because of these disorganized files. There had to be a better way.
I’ve always liked binders. I think I got hooked on them when I was in college. Each class had it’s own color coded binder with all of the relevant subcategories. Because of these binders, I never had an assignment that I couldn’t find, I always found my notes for upcoming tests & I always knew where my reference material was. It was organized & I felt comfortable with it. This is how the ‘light bulb’ came on. I would organize my household files into binders.
Goodwill & Michaels Haul
I have been so busy lately. Summer is getting close to an end & the holiday season will be here before you know it. Most of this Summer has been spent working on my very long to-do list. (Most of those projects are home decor/repair projects) Finishing projects that have been on my to-do list is exhausting but so fulfilling. A few of those projects started with a trip to the Goodwill & Michaels Arts & Crafts. Many of the projects that you will see in the upcoming weeks will include what I found at these two stores.
Personalized Earrings
I love earrings. They’re a simple way to bring color up towards your face. The problem with buying earrings from a store as apposed to making my own earrings is that everyone has them. I like my earrings to be a little unique. I found these rose earrings at Walmart, and fell in love with them. But anyone can have them. Changing them up a bit makes them uniquely yours.
My Household Reference Book
This is a little book that I started carrying in my purse because in all honesty, I could never remember the number for my vacuum cleaner bags. (They say the memory is the first to go, lol) I used to keep index cards in my purse with numbers & sizes of the items that I purchase often. Needless to say, the pile of cards was starting to get thick & taking up way too much room in my purse. I needed a new way to organize all of the information that was on those cards. The solution? A small hard backed notebook.
Blender Apple Muffins
This recipe for Apple Muffins is easy to make, is a people pleaser (my guys love it) they make a quick & tasty breakfast, and it packs very well in lunches.
Latest Goodwill Haul
I try not to go to Goodwill very often. Why? Because I always find so many things that tickle my fancy. This time I found a few random items that I think I’m going to have a lot of fun with.
