Pat Catan’s Haul

Today is Creatively Sam’s 1 Year Anniversary.  And for the anniversary, I thought I’d share my haul from my favorite craft store, Pat Catan’s.

I already shared my favorite item from my shopping haul.  The Hot Glue Gun Helpers.  This is by far, the best item I’ve gotten for crafting.  Since I’ve gotten it, I haven’t had one burn. (knock wood)

If you craft & use hot glue, I can’t tell you how valuable this is to your craft room.

But I got more than just that.  While I was there, they had holiday decorations galore.  I started with the next holiday coming up, Valentine’s Day.

The red candle holders were so pretty.  I’m sure they will appear in a tablescape or two, but I’m really thinking about putting them in the bathroom, since I’ve been thinking about changing it up a bit.  I was originally being pulled towards a baby blue for the bathroom, but I really love these.

Then I found the heart ornaments.  They’ll not only work for Valentine’s Day, but would go with the red, white & blue Christmas tree that hubby wants this year.

And then I found these beads & puffy stickers.  I think I see new Valentine’s Day earrings in the future!  And the puffy stickers can be used on a multitude of things.

Then came the St. Patrick’s Day section.  I feel like I hit the jackpot there!

The first thing that caught my eye was this St. Patrick’s Day tin.  I loved the way it looked.  The little Shamrocks in the basket just grabbed my heart.  I see a new centerpiece in it’s future.

Then I found St. Patrick’s Day Ornaments.  So many shiny shamrocks!

I love these little candle holders.  They look like little top hats.

The matching Shamrock mugs will certainly end up in a tablescape!  And they’re large enough to hold one of my cups of tea.

Then I found shamrock shaped rhinestones.  I’m not sure what I’ll be decorating with these, but they will make wonderful table scatter.

And the last thing that I found in the St. Patrick’s section was a bunch of glittery shamrock picks.  I can’t decide if they’ll end up in a centerpiece or wreath, but I love the sparkle of them.

And last, but certainly not least… crystals.  Pat Catan’s has the most amazing crystal section.  Every time I go there, I get a new one (or two) for my craft room window.  This time I got a teardrop shape with a teardrop hole in the center.  It should make wonderful rainbows on the Craft Room walls.  And the other one was a set of 3 square crystals.  I’m not sure if they’ll hang individually or strung together.  I’ll have to see which design makes the most rainbows.

The rainbows, dancing on the walls of my craft room in the morning, gives me so much inspiration.  I could watch them for hours.  There’s something so peaceful about them & for some reason, I feel closer to God.

Happy Creating everyone!
