Goodwill Wreath Collab 2020

This was a fun collaboration where we were to take something from the Goodwill or thrift store & incorporate it into a wreath. I had a beautiful picture frame that didn’t have any glass that was just screaming to be used. This is what I did.

I really love how this turned out. To see how I made this, click on the link below:

Happy Creating everyone!

Lucky Leprechaun Bell

St. Patrick’s Day is almost here!  I’ve been playing with Terra-cotta pots & put together a Leprechaun that is also a dinner bell.

Luck of the Irish Sign

If you’re looking for an easy way to add a little Irish decor to your home for St. Patrick’s Day, this is it.  It’s simple enough for the Wee Ones to do, but looks like it was purchased instead of the usual kid’s crafts.  Adults can really get creative with this project, too.

St. Patrick’s Day Sharpie Plates

I’ve been wanting to make Sharpie plates ever since I saw them on YouTube a couple of years ago.  And when a very special girl gave me a set of new Sharpies for Christmas, I had to do this.  (Thank you, Amanda)  Making special plates for St. Patrick’s Day seemed to be the right time to try this craft.  It was a little time consuming, but very relaxing.  It reminded me of when I was little & spent hours upon hours coloring in my coloring books.  I’m so happy with the results.  Here’s how I did it.

St. Patrick’s Day Tree & Ornaments

I still can’t put away the magic of Christmas.  I love my little white Christmas tree, so I decided to decorate it for St. Patrick’s Day.  Most of the items on the tree are handmade.  I thought I’d share with you how I made them.

St. Paddy’s Day Tablescape

St. Patrick’s Day is drawing near.  The wearing of the green is everywhere, including our table.  I’ve been wanting to do a tablescape using some very special pieces for a while now.  Unfortunately, one of the dessert plates have been lost along they way.  I wasn’t about to let that stop me, so I’ve done a tablescape for three.

I hope you enjoy it.

St. Pat’s Tablescape

Mardi Gras has come and gone, and it’s time to set my sites on one of my favorite holidays, St. Patrick’s Day!  St. Patrick’s Day seems to trigger a lot of things for me.  It tells me that Spring is just around the corner, and soon we’ll be seeing green outside instead of so much white.

Luckily, this year, St. Pat’s Day is on a Monday & I’ll be able to serve the traditional Corned Beef & Cabbage.  So I’ve been playing around with different tablescape ideas for that special meal.  Here’s the first idea:
