American Girl Bedding
Back in December, a friend asked me if I could make some new bedding for her daughter’s American Girl doll for Christmas. I told her that if she gave me the bed, I could make it. This is what her daughter woke up to on Christmas morning.
Winter White Tablescape
The world seems like it’s cover with snow. It’s been cold enough that the snow hasn’t melted yet. Don’t get me wrong, I love looking at snow, I just hate the cold. I think I’ve got a good case of cabin fever. There are so many things that I want to do outside.
Instead of fighting it, I decided to go with it. This week, I’ve created a Winter White Tablescape.
Fabric Stiffened Angel – New Versions
Back in December of 2013, I posted a tutorial about how to make a fabric stiffened angel. This is still my top pin on Pinterest. To see the tutorial, go here.
Since then, I’ve done a couple more as gifts and I thought I’d show you how different they look just by changing up the fabrics.

The project that I’ve wanted to do was in the bedroom. It’s hard to do a major project in the bedroom when the Hubby is home. I knew that this was going to take awhile. So, to fill the void of my Hubby being gone, I fixed our waterbed rails. They were in bad shape. After 2 days, this is the result.
Ornaments for the Sports Lover
I was looking online for a Pittsburgh Steeler ornament for my nephew, husband and a friend as a Christmas present. (They are all major Steeler fans.) I found one that I really liked, but they wanted $6.00 plus shipping & handling for just one. I knew I could make them for a much better price. Since I was making them, why stop at just the Steelers?
These are so easy to make, and very inexpensive, especially now that there are after Christmas sales going on. And the best part is that they can be customized for any sports team!
Here’s what I came up with:
