A Frosty Tablescape

This tablescape is perfect for Winter.

It was so easy to put together & has that chilly, frosty look to it.

I started with a plain white tablecloth & used plates from the wedding section of the Dollar Tree. I just love the reflective quality of the mirror finish to them. I added white handled flatware, furry placemats & mirrored snowflake napkin rings. It came together so easily & has become one of my favorite.

There are links to the tablescape as well as the centerpiece, placemats & napkin rings in the video. I hope you enjoy!!

Valentine’s Tablescape 2020

Happy Valentine’s Day!

This is this year’s Valentine’s Tablescape. I had a lot of fun putting this one together.

I stayed with reds this year. The base is a red tablecloth covered with white lace to break up the red.

Starting with a red charger that I had gotten at Michaels, years ago. I added a red dinner plate from the Dollar Tree. The salad plate & bowl are from Better Homes & Gardens that I’ve had for over 20 years. The flatware I believe I got at Ollie’s. The napkins are from Walmart & the napkin rings were made using satin ribbon, heart gems added to a Dollar Tree silver napkin rings.

The centerpiece is made from 3 goblets that are from the BH&G set. I glued the center goblet on to a crystal bowl to give it height. The bowl was filled with red roses. I surrounded the bowl & goblets with red roses & glitter hearts. Red glass heart scatter & rhinestones were added to give it a little ‘bling’. I love the way the diamond pattern of the goblets light up when the candles are lit.

A Mother’s Day Tablescape

It’s been a long time since I’ve done a tablescape, and to be honest, I’ve missed doing them.

I honor of Mother’s Day, I’ve done a tablescape using the china & gold silverware that my Mother-In-Law gave me.  It’s absolutely gorgeous & I’m so grateful for it.

Mother's Day Tablescape

I started with a pink tablecloth (which is actually a pink twin sized sheet, cut to fit) and added a layer of lace to tone it down a bit.

Because the china is trimmed in gold, I used a gold charger as a base.  I used white napkins so it didn’t detract from the china.

The napkins are held with silver & gold napkin rings to tie in the gold.

I kept the centerpiece simple, using a small serving platter to hold the tea pot with the creamer & sugar bowl on either side.  A little pink table scatter finished it off.

I added my favorite Wexford glasses.

And added the Water Jewels Centerpiece to the little corner of the dining area.  To see how I made this, click on the blue link.

Cookies For Santa

Merry Christmas everyone!

This week’s tablescape, as well as our entire house has a Santa theme.  It was inspired by a little plate that I found at Walmart.  It had just enough whimsy to touch my heart.  I hope you enjoy it.

Halloween Tablescape

Halloween is almost here!  I wanted to do a tablescape for Halloween, but this year, I wanted it to be more friendly than scary.  I chose to use cute Halloween candles as the centerpiece & at each place setting.

I hope you enjoy.
