I’ve had a love for teddy bears since I was little, so this tablescape holds a special place in my heart. Tonight, we had Dinner With Teddy.

Shabby Solar Chandelier
The first time I’d heard of solar chandeliers was on Pinterest. I fell in love with the idea of taking an old, out of date chandelier & turning it into something that can be used outside. I went on a search for an old chandelier. Then one day, while I was at Goodwill, I found one for only $6.45! It’s been sitting & waiting for me to make it into something beautiful. The wait is over, and I love it!
Shopping Haul
The only time that I usually go shopping is on payday, That’s once every other week. I actually don’t like to go shopping. The crowds drive me nuts, the traffic is always congested, and I’m usually in a hurry. Beside, I don’t spend money when I stay home. (ahem) But this day, I needed a couple things, so off I went.
First stop, JoAnn Fabrics. Oh, I have to be careful when I go there. I could browse that store for hours. I’ve been very careful not to go insane because of my love of fabrics, but I needed some for a special order. And JoAnn fabrics has gotten in some NHL fabric! (and I couldn’t resist the NFL fabric either. Pittsburgh does have its fans.
Easy Iced Tea
I’ve been making our iced tea like this for years. It never tastes bitter, takes very little ingredients & is healthier than the powdered mix that you can buy in the stores. With all of the varieties of tea out there, the possibilities are endless.
This is what our refrigerator looks like in the summertime.
DIY Shower Curtain
I’m still working on changing up the bathroom from turquoise accents to silver & white. I love the way the towels turned out. (to see how I did them, go here)
The next project was a new shower curtain. I made this for $4.00 instead of the $15.00 to $20.00 that the stores wanted.
(Please forgive some of the photos. My camera is starting to go)
Daisy Topiary
I used a daisy topiary as the centerpiece for my ‘In The Garden’ tablescape. It was easy to make & I thought I’d show you how I did it.
Patriotic Tablescape
Happy 4th of July everyone!
The 4th of July always inspires me. I love what it stands for. And putting together a tablescape to celebrate our nation’s independence is always a joy for me.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.
Pringles Can Centerpiece
The 4th of July is almost here & I needed a new centerpiece to celebrate. I wanted to use what I had on hand to make it, so I started with 3 Pringles Cans. These were the basic pieces for my centerpiece.
Here’s how I made it.
