I thought I’d show you how I made the flowers that I used in the centerpiece that was in my Purple Tablescape for Easter. The centerpiece not only had glittered eggs in the center of the roses, but were used among the roses. It was easy to do, even though they look don’t look it, and by changing the color of the eggs, you can change the complete look of the centerpiece.

Be My Valentine Centerpiece
I like to think outside the box, especially when I’m crafting. When I did my after Christmas shopping, I made sure that I got some items that could be used for Valentine’s Day & St. Patrick’s Day. This centerpiece was made with a lot of those 75% off sale items.
Pink Shabby Chic Centerpiece
I apologize for not posting last week. I really wanted to get this post up, but I managed to sprain my wrist, and typing with a sprained wrist is not easy. So, I’m ‘hunting & pecking’ this post.
With the Christmas season upon us, I’ve been working on some new items for the home, gifts & some more orders. This is the first centerpiece for the season. It’s so easy to make, using items available at any craft store or the Dollar Tree.
This is my pink, Shabby Chic Centerpiece:
Fall Lantern Tutorial
When I put together my Fall Tablescape-3 Ways, the first tablescape had a Fall Lantern as the centerpiece. It is easy to make & can be easily removed after the season has changed. The same principal can be used for the upcoming Christmas season, simply by changing the ribbon and florals.
Here’s how I changed a plain lantern into a Fall lantern.
Fall Tablescape – 3 Ways
I wanted to do a tablescape for Fall, but I had so many ideas running through my mind, that I decided to put together 3 versions of the tablescape. Here they are:
Dollar Tree Fall Centerpiece
Since the temperatures have been in the 40’s at night here in Western Pennsylvania, and I’m starting to see the leaves turning to the bright & beautiful shades of Autumn, I have to give in to the fact that Summer is over. Fall isn’t in its full colorful glory yet, but it’s just around the corner. Yes, I’m finally facing the fact that it’s Fall.
This is my first Fall home decor item for the season. Most of the items for this project are from the Dollar Tree, with a very few exceptions. And it’s so easy to put together. Just because the items were bought at the Dollar Tree, doesn’t mean it has to look like it. And tomorrow, I’ll be using it in a Fall Tablescape.
Daisy Topiary
I used a daisy topiary as the centerpiece for my ‘In The Garden’ tablescape. It was easy to make & I thought I’d show you how I did it.
Pringles Can Centerpiece
The 4th of July is almost here & I needed a new centerpiece to celebrate. I wanted to use what I had on hand to make it, so I started with 3 Pringles Cans. These were the basic pieces for my centerpiece.
Here’s how I made it.
Mirrored Lazy Susan
I love centerpieces that have some sparkle & shine. I can’t help it, the more shine, the better.
When I’d first seen the Mirrored Lazy Susan by Valerie Parr Hill on QVC, I fell in love with it. But the $31.00 + $7.47 shipping & handling charge made the price tag a little high for me. By now, you know me, and you know that if I want something, and it’s too expensive, I’ll try to make it myself. My version was under $5.00!
Here’s my version of the Mirrored Lazy Susan:
Easter Egg Tree
If you saw yesterday’s Easter Tablescape, you saw the little Easter Egg Tree in the corner. It’s bright & colorful & so easy to make. It would also make a quick centerpiece for a holiday table.
Here’s how I made it:
