If you’re looking for a quick and easy Easter decoration, here it is. The hardest part of this one is waiting for the paint to dry. This can be customized easily just by changing the colors used, or the saying of your choice.

I’m not much of a baker anymore. I really don’t like to cook. But I saw something in Wal-Mart’s ad that I had to try. It was Duff’s Pastel Tie-Dye Cake mix. The colors looked like Easter. After two tries, I finally have a sweet cake for Easter Dessert!
I’ve always been fascinated by the beauty of Faberge Eggs. And they fit right in with my love of sparkly things. ahem… I had some plastic metallic eggs in my Easter craft stash & decided to try my hand at embellishing them.
This is what I came up with.
I’ve been making these little Bad Hair Day Pencils for years. They are easy enough for children to make, make cute additions to Valentine’s Day parties or an Easter Basket, and can keep the little ones busy for a long time. They’ll also bring a smile to your face in your home office.
When I showed this to my 22 year old son, I asked him if he remembers them. He smiled & said, “Yes, I still have one”. Needless to say, that made my day!
I have a bad habit of picking up towels when they’re on sale. Since I like to sew, I know that I can always change them up to match what ever theme or color that I’m using at the time. It doesn’t matter what color they are, I’ll find a way to use them & decorate them to make them work in my home. And isn’t that what crafting is all about? Why have a plain white towel hanging in your home when you can have a decorated one?
I had a little left over fabric from my Easter Place Mats, so I thought I might bring some of the fabric into the kitchen. There wasn’t very much fabric left over, but there was enough to trim one side of a hand towel.
The Easter Towel was given 2 different looks. I put fabric on one side and ribbon & an applique on the other side. I like having reversible items, mainly because I like change. (at least when I can control it.)
