I love to burn candles, especially when I’m cooking with onions. Problem is, I can’t seem to throw the empty candle jars away. Today, I’m going to show you my little trick for removing the wax from those candle jars.

This sparkly holder can be used to hold candles, cotton balls, Q-Tips… what ever you want it for.

Making a corsage is easier than you might think. These can be used for the upcoming Prom season, Weddings, Mother’s Day and even baby showers. It can be customized easily by changing up the colors of the ribbons & floral types or colors.
The finished product…
Using only a Dollar Tree Rose Bush, Baby Breath, Ribbon, Floral Tape & something to attach it to your dress. (Corsage Pin, Safety Pin, or a Jewelry Pin)
And if you want to know what to do with your corsage after you’ve worn it? Try using them as curtain tie backs. They make a nice feminine touch to a room as well as keeping the memories close.

I’ve wanted to make a Harvest Angel for a long time. Now that October is here, it seemed like the right time to do it. This is a step by step tutorial of how I made her.
I’ll forewarn you, this is a long one because it’s loaded with pictures.
I love Calvin Klein’s Obsession. I’ve been wearing it for most of my adult life and when I venture out of the house (which isn’t that often), there isn’t a day that goes by when I don’t get a compliment on it. I could (and have) literally bathe in it. I’ve been known to spray the light bulbs with it so that the warmth of the light bulb spreads the scent all over the bedroom.
This is how I incorporate my ‘signature’ scent into my hand cream & keep it with me all the time.
Painting on clothing is easier than you might think. I do it all the time for many reasons. During December, we are allowed to wear holiday or winter themed clothing instead of the usual uniforms, so I make my own. I also give them out as gifts, not only for the holiday season, but for birthdays, special occasions or just to give as a very unique present. The very first one that I did was to cover a paint stain that I’d gotten on a favorite colored shirt that was almost brand new. People tell me that they could never do what I do, and I tell them, “Yes! You Can!” This is my little Snowman Shirt, and I’ll show you how I made him in 10 easy steps!

In my Holly Jolly Tablescape, I used a Holly Centerpiece. It was very inexpensive & easy to make. This is how I made the Holly Centerpiece.
I made these Juice Pouch Tote Bags years ago and recently, a friend asked me to make some more for her daughters. The kids love them, and they make great Christmas gifts. I thought that since I’m making them, I’d show you how I did them.
Back in August, I did a tutorial on how to make a Table Garland Centerpiece. It was a beautiful, simple and very easy centerpiece to make. I thought I’d show you how to make the centerpiece in Fall colors using florals & foliage from Walmart.
And here is how I made it.
While I’m on the Apple Theme this week, I decided to make some new coasters for the table. They were surprisingly easy to make. The thing that made them a little long was waiting for the paint to dry.

I don’t know if being a crafter is frugal or not, but if I can reuse an item & make it into something else that’s not only useful but pretty, I’m going to do it.
I eat way too many nuts. I love Great Value Deluxe Mixed Nuts, mainly because there are no peanuts in it & it’s salted just the way I like them. So, needless to say, I always have empty cans left over. What did I do with them this time? I made a centerpiece!
